An exciting opportunity has arisen for a driven individual to join our team within the Learning Disability Service as a Team Leader. Our innovative and dynamic learning disabilities service is growing and has genuine prospects for the right person to develop a long and highly rewarding career whilst supporting the service to achieve their goals.
The successful candidate will have experience working within a people who have a learning disability, autism, complex needs or challenging behaviour and be passionate about the promotion of a high quality service that is person-centered and delivers a holistic approach ensuring the physical and mental health needs for our young people & adults are met.
Keys Tasks and Responsibilities:
- You will provide leadership and day-to-day supervision to your team of support workers to ensure the service provides excellent support and care. A role model for excellent support, you can inspire others and help to enable them to achieve their goals
- Ideally you should have a minimum of 12 months experience with this client group and the ability to pass onto other staff your care and behavioural management skills.
- You should also have or be willing to work towards a level 3 in health and social care, be self-motivated, reliable, flexible and have the dedication to this client group.
Hours are 37.5 hours per week - Thursday to Monday and you must be able to drive.
